I love coral lips, but I think it's hard to find a pretty creamy, pastel color,that is not too pink or too orange. So yesterday I decided to make my own using 2 of my lipsticks ; MAC in "Myth" and Illamasqua in "OVER" (I got this one as a gift from MEG, and I adore it! Click HERE to see what else she sent me). I mixed them together and I must say that I LOVE this new lips combo. What do you think?

As you may certainly know already I am on a "Long Lashes Quest", I got Lilash few weeks ago for about $90 (haven't noticed results yet but I know that I have to be patient lol).
After surfing the web for while about others Lash serums I read that you can buy the GENERIC versions of Latisse ($100-150 the bottle) for ONLY $10(+shipping) ! They are Called Lumigan and Careprost and work just as Latisse. Read reviews here on MakeupAlley and check out this Video on Youtube.
I will start using Lumigan after finishing Lilash and of course share my thoughts with you.

I LOVE this combo! It kind of looks like MAC Everhip! I love mixing myth with bright colors it makes them look almost neon sometimes. <3 I want to try latisse so bad! Or any product that works. My lashes suck!! I know they have loads of potential. lol The only reason I havent gotten any is because my eyes are very sensitive. I can never wear liner on my waterline or my eyes will turn bloodshot.. also when I wear lots of eyeshadow or pigment my eyes will get very red. It sucks.. Having red eyes is definately not pretty.. so I'd rather not take the chance of having bloodshot eyes for weeks. *sigh*

I was really interested in the whole Lumigan thing but was a bit skeptical since its a med and being a nurse I knew this was not specifically made to grow your lashes so I went on and did some research on it on a medical data base.
ReplyDeleteThis was made for patients with really serious eye issues (glaucoma), not meant at all to make lashes grow.
If this drops touch your eyes... it's not gonna be fun in the least. It will damage them, make them red, very dry and can cause serious damage when it comes to vision.
So I don't know if I would dare using it, nor the Latisse and Lilash if they have the same components.
Just letting you all know in case someone wants to give it a second thought, be warned of the side effects it can cause.
