Homemade Mixing Medium and Some ELF Mineral Eyeshadows swatches.

Hi Everyone,
Last week I decided to make my own Mixing Medium, what's Mixing Medium?
"Mixing Medium has the ability to transform almost any loose powder mineral makeup or cosmetic product into a variety of formulations and colors."

Ingredients:
-Pur Glycerin (I bought mine on eBay here)
-Water
Recipe: In a small container add 1 part glycerin and 3 parts purified or regular water and that's it. Shake it well, damp your brush (slightly) in the Mixing Medium then in the loose pigments and apply it directly on your lid.

Here is the result I got using my homemade Mixing Medium. Top: Mineral eyeshadow (no primer no nothing), Bottom: Same mineral eyeshadow with Mixing Medium. I love how creamy the shadow looks, it's more intense, thicker, super easy to apply and last all DAY.

Have you tried this? do/did you like it? Personally I adore it and I am going to use this little "Magic potion" a lot.
Now let's talk about the really great Mineral Eyeshadow from e.l.f

I decided to try their Mineral Eye shadows ($3 but %50 off with Coupon Carolina), to be honest on the website the colors weren't attractive at all, but after browsing blogs, I found some very pretty and interesting colors so I gave it a try and I am glad I did.
The colors I picked are:
Socialite, Royal...

Confident, Caffeinated and Wild (this last one was nicely sent to me by the Lovely Chloé from Chloe Beauty NYC, check her blog and Youtube's Channel she is a Doll)

The colors are Amazing I love them all.
Here are the swatches. I could have done a better job swatching these, because they are really more vibrant than this...Oh well I will have to practice swatching now (lol)

Btw, I didn't use the Mixing Medium with this swatches (Obviously lol)
Hope you liked it and I wish everyone a GREAT WEEK-END !

WOW 1000 Followers???? Seriously??? Thank you so much...
Love,
Chloé.

  21. Very nice.. Some girls on YouTube said that you can use Visine for the glycerine and it'll intensify shadows too. Thanks for sharing!
